Floorshop Policy

Our Policy

Delivery - Once an order is placed and stock is secured, your order will be delivered by a major courier. You will receive your delivery at the address provided in 2-7 days (excluding holidays) and depending on where you live. Because our volume is so large, we have negotiated extremely low transport rates with the nation's top couriers. As with all other savings we receive, we pass them on to you the customer. Your order arrives at your home pre-paid and FOB destination, meaning that we still own the shipment and are responsible for it and any damage that may occur. If your order is a large one it will be on a pallet and tightly shrink-wrapped to avoid any damage. At your home, the driver will break down your order into individual boxes for ease in unloading. At this point, it is important to check each box for any visible damages. If a small number of units are damaged, note the problem on the driver's receiver and call us immediately so we can process replacement boxes. If a large number are damaged, call us immediately to determine whether the delivery should be refused or accepted. In addition to receiving the delivery at your home, you can send it to your business. If your business has a dock-high platform, you may be eligible for a price break on your delivery.

Distribution Warehouses - If you live near one of our manufacturer's warehouses, you can also pick up there, free of charge (no delivery charges at all). Additionally, most of these warehouses stock the floors on-site, meaning they are usually available immediately.

Quality and Warranties - We only sell First Grade material. We are authorised dealers for every laminate we sell and we only sell material from reputable manufacturers. The warranty may vary depending on the product and supplier.

Returns - We will gladly accept returns of three (unopened) boxes or more. Returned materials are all subject to a 15 to 45% restock fee, based on the manufacturer. All returns must be made within 14 days of delivery receipt. Contact us when planning a return, as we need to issue a Return Authorisation before the material is sent. You are responsible for return freight to our store or distribution point. Refunds are issued upon receipt of the material. Trim pieces, mouldings and other accessories over-ordered are not returnable.

Payment Options - We accept Visa card, Mastercard, Cash, Money Orders, and Personal Cheques. Personal cheques will take 3 business days to clear and your delivery will be sent after this time. Internet transfers into Floorshops nominated bank account are also accepted.
